How to add assets in Autobahn Fit
Easily import your existing asset information into our asset inventory system using the upload feature. This will allow you to view all of your asset data from a single location. Additionally, any newly added assets can be selected when initiating a scan on Autobahn Fit.
This feature is only available for users with Owner and Admin roles.
Navigate to the Upload asset page
To access this function, after logging into your Autobahn Fit account, you can:
1 - Navigate to the Assets page by clicking the Assets button on the menu bar.
2 - Click the Upload button on top of the page.
You will be directed to the Upload Assets page. There are two ways of adding your assets:
- Adding assets one-by-one
- Through the upload CSV file function
Input assets one by one
To input your assets one by one, on the Upload page, navigate to the section as shown in the picture below:
1 - Input your domain URLs or IP addresses in the Assets field.
2 - Select the criticality level of the asset. This step is optional.
3 - Add tags in the Tags field. This step is optional.
4 - Click the Add Asset button to submit the target.
Upload CSV file
To upload your assets via Autobahn Fit CSV template, you need to first download the template provided on the Upload page.
1 - Download the CSV template provided in the Upload a file section.
2 - Fill in the template by following this format:
Asset name,Criticality,Tag1;Tag2
You can add multiple tags to the template. For example:
3 - After you save the template, navigate to Autobahn Fit and upload the CSV file by dragging the file to the Upload section.
4 - Once the file is uploaded, the assets you added will appear in the table on the right page.
Select and import your asset
The previously added assets will appear on the right side of the page. By default, the added assets are selected to be included in the imported asset.
1 - Untick the Checkbox to exclude them from the list.
2 - Click the Import button to include the assets in the All Assets table.
3 - Once uploaded, you will be redirected to the Assets page. The previously imported asset will appear on the All Assets table.
